I would have given more stars if it wasn't for how I was treated during the check in process. While I was checking in, they were having an issue with the computer. That's fine. I get it. But how I was treated was not right. I was being rushed. When I had to sign the tablet (the 1st time) I was starting to read the info before I signed. I was yelled at for that. I was told to sign and not read. And there was a waiting room full of people who heard it. I felt stupid and embarrassed. Then they were collecting my copay... While one was tying in my credit card info, the other receptionist was reading my card info out loud to the one typing it in... Including my 3 digit security code. So, if anyone in the waiting room was listening, they now have my card info in full. It was not the experience I would like to have before having a colonoscopy and endoscopy. You want to go on feeling ok and relaxed. My blood pressure was 173/101 when they 1st took it. That's how upset I was. The reason why I didn't give one star was because the rest of the experience was more pleasant. The nurses, anesthesiologist and Dr's were fantastic. They were kind, calming and welcoming.
Efficient...coordinated...very friendly...very caring.....thank you for putting me at ease
Overall had a pleasant experience for my procedure. The staff were professional, and explained everything to me. The only frustration that I experienced was when the staff tried to get a needle in the vein on my R hand. They inserted it twice, and it was very painful! The lady that checked me in was extremely nice, and very helpful. Dr. Hellstern was great!
I have always been well cared for by Suncoast Endoscopy Team. From the check in process to pre op to post op and by Dr Hellstern and anesthesia Dr Brian. The team of nurses are wonderful and help if your nervous. Great experience, thank you.
