Went there for my colonoscopy and it was a great experience. All of the personnel and nurses were just wonderful and I can't thank them enough for all their help.
We were all freezing cold in the waiting room until the office mgr. came out to meet me. When I told Kate we were FREEZING, she was so sweet and turned it warmer by 2 degrees!! Love that Kate cared so much for us.
Suncoast Gastroenterology has assembled an excellent team of nurses. Sarah who got me ready for the procedure was very kind and professional. Heck even the IV didn’t bother me. Stephanie the nurse anesthetist explained everything to me and at my request even told me when she was going to administer the sedative. Stacey the procedure room nurse couldn’t have been more kind, professional and caring. Preparing for a colonoscopy is not an enjoyable experience however at least the team at Suncoast made it a little more bearable.
Every staff member was extremely friendly and caring. Everyone introduced themselves and explained their role. Made me feel very comfortable. Dr Shende was very informative during the consultation and it was a pleasure to be her patient for a colonoscopy and endoscopy. It was my 4th colonoscopy and, by far, the easiest.
